Wifey’s 1st day alone with the babies

Tuesday, February 13, 2007 3:17 am at 3:17 am 11 comments

As expected, I came back home to find my other half all teary-eyed probably for the following reasons:

  • She’s overjoyed to see me!
  • Braedyn and Shayanne have been giving her hell
  • She finally realised that she’s gotten herself into a black hole of no-return  (unfortunately Shayanne didn’t come with a 30-day return policy)
  • Or maybe she’s pissed with me for coming back at 930pm when I said I’ll leave the office at 6:30-7pm

She’s a tough cookie though and I am sure she will adapt to her new routine soon enough. Meanwhile, I really have to get up early, leave work at a decent time, help her with the babies, and stay up real late to blog and follow up on emails from work.

And Braedyn has started to hit his mei mei whenever he’s close to her. Wonderful! When I tell him off sternly, he proceeds to smack me! Ouch.

It’s not easy to be a SAHM and taking care of 2 little ones. I lost 2lbs within 1 week as a SAHM, running up and down the house.

    Hats off to those SAHM!!!

Did you read that dear, all that running can make you lose weight? I better cancel the order for the home lift.

Sibling rivalry already? Didn’t you just blog how good he is to his meimei?
Things all changed when the aunt left. Either he wants someone to be his companion 24-7 or he is suffering Chinese serial withdrawal symptoms.

Oh dear! Hang in there, girl! I’m sure things will turn out fine soon. Is there anyone to help you around? I really respect you for being able to take care of 2 babies. With 1 also I’m half crazy, imagine being left with 2???
If you have 2, then you’d be TOTALLY crazy!!!

Give kor kor some time, sure he’ll love his mei mei very soon wan. Get him involve more in baby changing time, take diaper, cream, cloth,,,,etc etc….all these might work.

When my husband started coming home late (used to be 6:30pm and now 8pm), the first thing that came to my mind was :
Is he trying to avoid his responsibility.. Come home later, then have more time for him self. Hmph!

Daddy Khong, have to start coming home early also ok?

2 days ago, I actually stepped out of the office into the hot evening sun. Haven’t had that experience for many months now. And I got home before the sun set! I am very proud of myself.

Mommy Khong – that kind of lose weight, not healthy. I know the hardship as I went thru myself too. After that incident, i told myself “no more confinment pantang-larang” on the next one. It just make me more stress!

Daddy Khong – aiyoyo…don’t lah tell Mummy Khong like that lei…come home a bit early and work again when the kids are asleep..Mummy Khong is going thru transition…it’s like that…

Haha…I also hate confinement and those pantang-larang. After 2 weeks, thank god no more confinement. Daddykhong is trying his very very best to come back early every day to help me out but sometimes he just can’t.
