Braedyn continuing the family tradition

During our recent CNY balik kampung trip, Braedyn took the opportunity to continue the family tradition. You see, mummy rode the very same tricycle and car when she was a little girl. In fact, each and every one of mummy’s paternal cousins rode the family kiddie transport when they were younger and their children (who are between 2 and 9 years old now) also had a go at them.

Fortunately for Braedyn, his 2nd cousins have upgraded to Game Boys and Barbie Dolls so he had BOTH tricycle and car to himself.

In the tricycle with great-grandpa in the background keeping an eye on him. If you kena Da Ma Cai, better belanja me!

In the driver’s seat of our family Porsche 911 with Uncle Fatt making sure he knows the basics.

30-year old classic car. I am sure everyone had one.

Wow, such a classic! People last time really know how to keep things hor… nowadays the new ones either bad quality or the kids memang rough play lah, all rosak and nothing to pass down to their own babies. hehehe…

I am amazed that the plastics are still holding up after all these years. When wifey 1st told me that she used to ride the same car, I didn’t believe her because I had the same blue car and it disappeared even before I entered secondary school.

Then she showed me an old photo with her in the same car!!

They don’t make things so tough anymore and it does help that kampung folks fix up old things.
